- Discussion threads: Each topic can have multiple discussion threads, where users can post their comments and reply to other users’ comments.
- User profiles: Users can create their own profiles, which can include information such as their location, interests, and profile picture.
- Search and filtering: The forum can have a search function that allows users to search for specific topics or discussions, and there may be filters to sort and display discussions by date, popularity, or other criteria.

- Site Setting- Admin here change setting of the Online Discussion Forum site.

Follow the instructions to setup + run the Online Discussion Forum:
1. Please click Download to download the project zip file
2. Once the zip file is extracted, copy the Online Discussion Forum folder
3. If you’re using XAMPP, paste it in xampp/htdocs, if you’re using WAMP, paste it in wamp/www, if you’re using LAMP, paste it in var/www/html.
4. Open PHPMyAdmin (paste http://localhost/phpmyadmin in your browser).
5. Now you need to create a database with the name odfs_db(click New -> enter database name under the create database section)
6. Import the odfs_db.sql file (given inside the zip package in the SQL file folder)
7. Run the project. ( visit frontend -> http://localhost/odfs)
8. For admin Panel http://localhost/odfs/admin
